Not unlike the infamous 1989 Fleer Billy Ripken bat card, card #126 of Jim Nettles also packed out with an obscenity ("Asshole") clearly visible on a bat knob. This was corrected very late in the production run for the wax edition, and in all factory sets.

In addition, card #128 of Bobby Bonds was issued without his name on the front. A corrected version is exclusive to factory sets.

A limited number of "Super-Glossy" factory sets were produced -- not unlike the Topps Tiffany sets of the era.

Because this was an era where baseball cards -- even those NOT licensed by the MLB or MLBPA -- had to include something other than just cards, each pack came with a team logo sticker. Factory sets had fifteen of these things.

Each comes in two variations: White and Silver. It is believed that the Whites are exclusive to packs, while Silvers are in factory sets. The backs have puzzle pieces that, when arranged, form photos of George Foster, Bobby Bonds, and Bernie Carbo.
