Description
1993 Lime Rock Winter Baseball is a 161-card set featuring the players of the Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic -- more commonly known as the Dominican Winter League. the largest source of foreign-born players for U.S. Major League teams. Each nine-card pack included a special offer card and a Diamond Star chase card. (The Diamond Star chase cards have a special gold foil emblem on their backs.). The cards are arranged according to teams as follows: Escogido Leones, (1-31) Estrellas de Oriente, (32-54) Licey Tigres, (55-86), Aguilas Cibaenas, (87-113) and Azucareros del Este (114-139). The set concludes with a Top Ten subset, (140-149) History cards, (150-151) and team checklist cards (152-161). Original Rookie cards are scattered throughout the set.

Base Set
Parallels
All 161 base set cards have a Diamond Star parallel. The Diamond Star parallel set is identical to the base set with the addition of a gold foil "Lime Rock" logo stamped on the reverse.
