Description

1995 Fleer Extra Bases is a 25-card set that was never released. In an attempt to enter the then-nascent collectible card game (CCG) market, Fleer readjusted all their "over-size" sets (Power Play Hockey; Game Day Football; Jam Session Basketball; and Extra Bases) into CCGs.

Fleer sub-contracted with Terry Smith Creations (TSC) to create a baseball-related CCG in an over-sized (2 1/2" X 4 3/4") format. TSC submitted a test printing (believed to be between 50 and 60, 25-card, sets) to Fleer. Fleer decided to not go forward with the project and returned the cards back to TSC.
