Description
2002 Upper Deck Rookie Update is a bundled update set that features cards from 2002 SP Authentic, 2002 SPx, and 2002 Upper Deck Diamond Collection. Although there is no "Rookie Update" set, per se, the product does feature a number of game-used cards that are not part of any of the three aforementioned products.
On average, a 15-pack box should yield two serial-numbered rookie cards from SP Authentic and Diamond Collection, one serial-numbered autograph card from SPx, one Star Tribute game-jersey and one USA Future Watch Swatch card.
Distribution
15 packs per box, four cards per pack. Hobby exclusive.
NOTE: Packs and boxes incorrectly state five cards per pack.

These 29 cards feature game-jersey cards of some of the leading players in baseball. A few players were issued in smaller quantities and we have notated those players with an SP in our checklist. The Ichiro card is not serial-numbered.
