Description
2005 Upper Deck Update is a 186-card set released in February, 2006. Subtitled "Prospect Edition," each pack contained either an autograph or a serial-numbered rookie/prospect numbered to 1500 copies or less. Unlike traditional "Update" sets, the design is original and does not copy that of the current year's flagship.
In addition to the Update set, the product features additional Prospects from seven different 2005 Upper Deck brands, including.

Each five card pack contains one card from the following: Update, Artifacts, Origins, and Reflections. The fifth card will be either an autograph or a serial-numbered card.
The Update base set includes 77 Prospects (cards #101-#177) all serial-numbered to 599 copies, and nine Autographed Prospects (#178-#186) numbered to 75.
