Description
2016 Topps New Era is a nine-card set distributed nationwide at LIDS stores. Customers who purchase an MLB-licensed New Era hat at a participating LIDS store would receive a pack of four cards. Randomly inserted are Relics and autographed Relics.
The design is from the 2016 Topps flagship set, but with different photographs. Each card has a New Era logo on the reverse side and is sequentially-numbered with a "NEW ERA" prefix -- the only things differentiating these cards from the flagship set.
Most of these packs "snuck out the backdoor" and were widely available on eBay within days after the promotion's start.
