1993 Donruss Elite Dominators is a 20-card set, offered exclusively for sale on the Shop at Home television network.

1995 Studio is a 200-card set. In a radical, and not well received, departure for the brand, these cards were designed to resemble credit cards.

In a series of programs broadcast December 8-13, 1993, viewers were offered the opportunity to purchase a factory-sealed box of either 1993 Donruss Series One or Series Two, which included one Elite Dominator card produced especially for the promotion, shrink-wrapped directly to the box. Each box retailed for $99 plus $6 for postage and handling.

5000 serial-numbered sets were produced and half of the cards for Nolan Ryan, Juan Gonzalez, Paul Molitor, and Don Mattingly were signed by the player. The entire print run of 100,000 cards were reportedly purchased by the Shop at Home network and were to be offered periodically over the network.

2017 Topps Archives is a 300-card set, released May 31st. As has been this brand's trademark, one third of the base set is done in the style of the 1960 Topps set (which was the basis of 2009 Topps Heritage), one third as 1982 Topps (which was used as one of the designs in 2013 Topps Archives), and the final third 1992 Topps.
+
2018 Panini Elite Extra Edition was released December 12th. As usual, the product focuses on recent draft picks and prospects, and can be seen as Panini's answer to Bowman Draft.

Topps' initial solicitation for 2017 Archives promised "wide-ranging improvements," and one such improvement (and a major one, if that) was the subtraction of "high-number" short-prints to the base set.  In the previous two years, Archives was solicited as a 300 card base set without short-prints, only for Topps to deliver a final product with SPed base cards (30 in 2015 and ten in 2016).  Another "addition-by-subtraction" improvement was the elimination of a celebrity/movie tie-in; replaced by a 23-card reprint insert of all of Derek Jeter's Topps Baseball base cards.
+
Each base card is serial-numbered to 999 copies.  Each five-pack Hobby box will yield two serial-numbered parallels, two game-used memorabilia cards, and eight autographs.

Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield two autographs and two Derek Jeter Retrospective inserts.

2017 Topps Inception is a 139-card set released May 19th, 2017. The product has been reconfigured from the previous year's product, yet still maintains the heavily Photoshop filtered look and feel. As the name suggests, the product has been re-branded from Bowman to Topps, and with that rebranding is a focus away from rookies and prospects and towards current Major League players.

A conventional base set has been added, and includes a 39-card Rookie Autographs subset. In addition, the number of autographs per box has been reduced from five to only one.
+
2018 Triple Threads is a 100-card set released November 7th -- about a month-and-a-half later than usual. Each seven-card Hobby pack will contain three base cards, two parallels, one triple Relic card serial-numbered to 36 copies or fewer, and an autograph or autographed relic serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

Each 16-box case should yield four Autographed Patches, one Autographed Jumbo Patch, and a Silver Signings card.

2017 Topps BUNT is a 200-card "physical" card set based on, and with many ties to, the popular Topps Bunt digital card game.

2018 Panini Flawless is an 85-card set released October 31st. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2017 Bowman is a 100-card set, supplemented by a 150-card Prospects "insert" set, released April 26th. Each Hobby box will come with one autograph, while hobby-exclusive Jumbo boxes will yield three.

It should be noted that while Topps is billing 2017 Bowman as the "70th Anniversary," it is actually the 69th as the first Bowman set was released in 1948.

2017 Honus Bonus Baseball is a 500-card trading card game.  The set is being produced and distributed by Rittenhouse Archives, a noted producer of non-sports cards.  This is Rittenhouse's first baseball set, but not their first sports card product as they have had the WNBA license for a few years.  Due to their exclusive license with Topps, Honus Bonus is NOT licensed by MLB Properties and does not have logos.  The product is licensed by the MLBPA.

Each card will have a unique code (concealed by a silver "scratcher" bar) that, when entered onto the Honus Bonus website, can be used as part of an on-line fantasy baseball game.

2018 Topps Update was released October 22nd.
2017 Topps Gypsy Queen is a 320-card set.  In response to lagging sales and collector interest, Topps has reconfigured the Gypsy Queen brand at a lower price point.  Gone are the one-per-pack mini parallels, as well as the two-per-Hobby box Relics -- although each 24-pack Hobby box will continue to yield two autographs.  The ten-card "mini-box," which had been a Gypsy Queen staple, is also replaced by an oversized GQ Reflections box topper.

2017 Panini Stars & Stripes is a 100-card set featuring current and former members of USA Baseball national and junior national teams. Curiously, while the set was released during the 2017 World Baseball Classic, it does not feature the 2017 USA WBC team (Topps has the WBC license).

2018 Topps Gold Label is a 300-card set released October 12th. As with the Gold Label sets of the late-90s, the set features 100 different players on three different "Class" cards: 1, 2, and 3. Unfortunately, the holo-foil plastic cardstock the brand was known for in the 90s was not used -- regular paper stock was used instead.

2018 Bowman High Tek is a 56-card set released September 12th. Set of the Month

1995 Studio is a 200-card set. In a radical, and not well received, departure for the brand, these cards were designed to resemble credit cards.

Just Released

2018 Bowman Draft is a 200-card set released December 14th -- delayed about a week. Each Hobby only Jumbo will contain three autographs, while Super Jumbo boxes will yield five.

2018 Topps Transcendent was released December 14th. Only 83 sets were produced.

Each factory set, which is packaged in a wooden case contains the following:

 • One 50-Card base set -- serial-numbered to 83 sets.
 • One 65-Card Origins Sketch Reproductions Set -- also serial-numbered to 83 sets.
 • One, one-of-one Origins Sketch Card or a one-of-one Hall of Fame Icons Sketch card.
 • 50 Autographs –- all serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.
 • One, one-of-one Mike Trout Through the Years Autograph.
 • One, one-of-one 1983 Auto Patch or one-of-one Cut Signature Relic Book Cards.
 • One, one-of-one 1952 Autographed Superfractors
 • One, one-of-one Oversized Cut Signature
 • One invitation to a VIP meet-and-greet with Mike Trout, February 22nd, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

2018 Panini Elite Extra Edition was released December 12th. As usual, the product focuses on recent draft picks and prospects, and can be seen as Panini's answer to Bowman Draft.

Each base card is serial-numbered to 999 copies. Each five-pack Hobby box will yield two serial-numbered parallels, two game-used memorabilia cards, and eight autographs.

2018 Topps Dynasty was released December 7th. As usual, each box will contain an encased autographed patch card serial-numbered to ten or fewer.

2018 Panini Flawless is an 85-card set released October 31st. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2018 Topps High Tek was released on October 31, 2018. As usual, all cards are printed on acetate with multiple background pattern parallels. Each 40-card box will contain two autographs and four numbered base/insert cards.

2018 Topps Update was released October 22nd.

2018 Topps Five Star was released October 17th. All cards are autographed, and each box will contain two.

Each box will yield one Framed Autograph.

New for 2018 are Relics and Framed Autographed Relics.

2018 Panini Contenders Draft Picks is a 50-card set focusing on prospects and draft picks, released October 5th. Most players are depicted in their college uniforms, and is licensed by The Collegiate Licensing Company.

The product does NOT have any active Major League players and as such, is not licensed by the MLB Players Association (even though Panini does have an MLBPA license).

Each pack contains an autograph.

2018 National Treasures was released by Panini September 26th. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer. Each eight-card box will contain one booklet card.

2018 Topps Heritage Minor League is a 220-card set released September 26th -- a month earlier than last year. Each 24-pack Hobby box will yield one relic and one autograph.

2018 Bowman Chrome will be released September 26th with a 100-card base set supplemented by a 100-card Prospects set. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs.

For the second consecutive year, HTA Choice boxes are available which contain three autographs.

2018 Bowman High Tek is a 56-card set released September 12th. All cards are printed on acetate with multiple background variations. Unlike the the previous year's product, a small selection of "true" rookie cards are included -- however, curiously, some players eligible to be RCs (e.g. Ronald Acuna, Jr. and Gleyber Torres) are still Prospects. Each ten-card box will yield four autographs and a parallel.

2018 Topps Luminaries was released September 7th. Each box contains one card, an autograph serial-numbered to 15 copies or fewer.

We estimate that only 625 12-box cases will be produced -- an increase of 100 cases from the previous year's product.

2018 Topps Diamond Icons was released August 29th. Each eight-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics. Every other box will yield a cut signature. All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.
