1979 Topps Burger King
Description
1979 Topps Burger King are two, 23-card, regionally-distributed, sets: one for the New York Yankees and one for the Philadelphia Phillies. Again the cards were virtually identical to the 1979 Topps base set and were distributed at Burger King restaurants in the New York and Philadelphia areas, respectively. The Phillies set is notable as it featured the first Topps-issued card of Pete Rose depicted as a Phillie.

Yankees
NOTE: Card #16 in both the 1979 Topps and the '79 Burger King Yankee sets is Fred Stanley. There is no obvious differentiator between the two Stanley cards; however, the Burger King card has a noticeable green "tint" and is slightly off-register.
