Parallels
Glossy
Similar to Topps' Tiffany factory sets, beginning in 1987 Fleer produced a Glossy version of their factory set. The Glossy set was packaged in a tin box and is often referred to as the "Tin" set. It is believed that as many as 75,000 Glossy sets were produced.
In addition to all 660 base cards, the Glossy set also includes all 12 World Series inserts (see below).
NOTE: On the inner lid of the Glossy set's tin box, there is a synopsis of the 1986 baseball season. The type for that was set by the father of one of baseballcardpedia's editors.

Inserts
All-Stars
All-Stars is exclusive to wax and rack packs. The design is virtually identical to the previous year's set, with the exception of the background colors are different (Black for American Leaguers, gray for National Leaguers).
<sql2wiki database="carddb"> SELECT num,player,info FROM cards WHERE (year = 1987) AND (setname = 'Fleer All-Stars'); </sql2wiki>
Headliners
Headliners are exclusive to cello packs.
<sql2wiki database="carddb"> SELECT num,player,info FROM cards WHERE (year = 1987) AND (setname = 'Fleer Headliners'); </sql2wiki>
Box Bottoms
A four-card "panel" was printed on the bottom of each 36-pack wax box. Each panel consisted of three player cards and a team logo card. The four team logos represent the four 1986 playoff teams.
Panels are as follows.
Panel A: #C1, C6, C8, C14
Panel B: #C2, C3, C5, C11
Panel C: #C4, C9, C10, C15
Panel D: #C7, C12, C13, C16
<sql2wiki database="carddb"> SELECT num, player, info FROM cards WHERE (year = 1987) AND (setname = 'Fleer Wax Box Cards') ORDER BY (SUBSTRING(num FROM 2)) +0 ASC; </sql2wiki>
World Series
This 12-card set features highlights from the 1986 World Series and was included in each Hobby factory set. This set was NOT included in the factory sets sold at retail.
A Glossy parallel was included in each Glossy "Tin" set.
<sql2wiki database="carddb"> SELECT num, player, info FROM cards WHERE (year = 1987) AND (setname = 'Fleer World Series') ORDER BY num +0 ASC; </sql2wiki>
Team Stickers
Once again, each pack of 1987 Fleer Baseball contained one team logo sticker. Each team has two designs: "Logo on Baseball" and "Dual Logos with Wordmarks." The Dual Logos stickers pair-up two teams (usually from opposite leagues) with two nickel-sized mini team logos along with four team wordmarks -- two for each team. The wordmark stickers were, at the time, popular for labeling team sets.
The reverse of each sticker is another team logo.
