1989 Score Boxed Sets
Description
1989 Score released two 100-card boxed sets; Hottest 100 Rookies and Hottest 100 Stars. Each set came packaged with a book and six "Rookies to Remember" Magic Motion trivia cards.
Both sets were distributed exclusively by Publications International, and sold primarily at book stores and mass market retailers in their book sections. Reportedly, only 225,000 of each set was produced.
The Hottest 100 Rookies card contains the only MLB-licensed card of David Justice produced in 1989.

Rookies to Remember
This 12-card lenticular set was included in both Hottest 100 sets, and is similar to the "Magic Motion" trivia cards that were part of the Score "flagship" set. The first six cards were included in each Hottest 100 Rookies set, while cards 7-12 were in each Hottest 100 Stars set.
