2004 Finest
Description
2004 Finest is a 121-card set released by Topps exclusively to Hobby outlets in May, 2004. For the first and only time, the 2004 Finest base set included Relic cards -- ten in all. The last 11 cards (#111-#122) are Autographed First Year Players. Each six-pack mini box will yield one Refractor parallel and one Relic card. Hobby boxes will have three mini boxes, and promise at least two autographs and one Uncirculated Gold Refractor.
Distribution
Each Hobby Exclusive box is comprised of 3 mini boxes (MSRP: $40/mini box). Each mini box contains 6 packs of 5 cards each.

Relics
Each card features a piece of a game-used jersey mounted onto the card. The odds of finding one of these cards is 1:7 mini boxes.

Autographed First-Year Players
Each card features an on-card autograph of a up-and-coming rookie. All cards are true rookies and are seeded into packs at the rate of 1:3 mini boxes.
NOTE: Cards #112, #113, and #118 (base, Refractor, Gold Refractor, and Uncirculated Gold Refractor) were available via redemption. Unfortunately, due to Jeff Allison's substance abuse problems, redemptions for card #112 were unable to be fulfilled. Those that sent in for any variation of that particular card received a 2004 Topps World Series Highlights Bobby Thomson autograph in its place. All redemption cards expired April 30th, 2006.

Parallels
Each card is available as Refractor and Gold Refractor (serial-numbered to 50 copies) parallels.
Uncirculated Gold Refractors
Each Master Box came with one Uncirculated Gold Refractor. As the name suggests, the card is sealed in tamper-proof lucite holder, similar to a screw down. Each card is serial-numbered to only 139 copies.
