Description

1997 Pacific Prism Invincible is a 150-card set. Each base card features a transparent cel "window" with the player's portrait and are printed in both English and Spanish. Each pack contains one Prism and two Gems of the Diamond "inserts."

The Pacific Prism brand name would take a one-year hiatus after this year's product. However, the concepts behind it would continue as "Invincible."

Distribution

36 packs per box, three cards per pack.

Each pack contained two Gems of the Diamond "inserts," the purpose of which was to protect the die-cut cel "window" of the Prism base card. Of course, since this set is larger 70 cards than the base set, you could make an argument that Gems of the Diamond is Prism's "real" base set.
