Description
1996 Circa (produced by Fleer/SkyBox) is a 200-card set released in August, 1996. Originally intended as a $5/pack "super premium" product along the lines of Fleer's Flair brand, low initial orders led Fleer/Skybox to downgrade it to the $1.99/pack price point. The cards feature color action player photos on one of 28 different background designs and colors indicating the player's major league team. The checklist is grouped alphabetically by team with American League teams preceding National League teams.
Distribution
24 packs per box, eight cards per pack (MSRP: $1.99). Hobby only.
