1997 King-B Discs
Description
1997 King-B Discs is a 28-card food issue. This set is licensed by the MLBPA and produced by Mike Schechter Associates for King-B Quality Meat Products. All MLB logos are airbrushed off. One disc (which measured 2 5/16" in diameter) was inserted into specially-marked packages of King-B beef jerky.
This set was marketed as the "10th Anniversary" set, however, this is untrue as the first King-B set was issued in 1988 (1997 - 10 = 1987).
