Description
2003 Upper Deck Honor Roll is a 161-card set released exclusively to retail outlets in August, 2003. The set features 65 Major League players on two different cards, One Hideki Matsui "Dean's List" jersey card, and 30 serial-numbered "Freshman Class" rookies and prospects.
The even-numbered cards from #2-#60 were short-printed and seeded into packs at the rate of 1:6. The Dean's List Hideki Matsui card is serial-numbered to 1000 copies. All 30 Freshman Class cards are serial-numbered to 2500 copies.
Distribution
24 packs per box, five cards per pack (MSRP: $2.99). 20 boxes per case. Retail exclusive.

Each player in the 29-card set (except one) has two jersey cards; one in which the jersey is in the shape of his first initial, the other in the shape of his last initial. Sammy Sosa has only one card in this set, for obvious reasons.
