Description
2011 Finest is a 100-card set that was released on October 11, 2011. In a change for the brand, Topps has pushed back the release of Finest from just before Opening Day, to just before the end of the season. Another change is the elimination of the much-maligned manufactured letter patches and rookie redemptions.
The base set consists of 100 veteran cards with 19 autographed rookies. Each autographed rookie will be serial-numbered and seeded at the rate of one-per 12-pack box. Each box will also include an autographed rookie dual relic, two Finest Moments inserts, and six Refractor parallels.
Distribution
Six cards per pack; two, six-pack, mini boxes per box (MSRP: $50). Hobby only.

Unlike previous years, the rookies will be available both autographed and un-autographed. Every other six-pack mini box will contain an Autographed Rookie card with the other mini box yielding an Autographed Rookie Dual Relic (see below).
All cards in this set will be autographed on-card.
None of the Autographed Rookies are available in a non-Refractor, or "plain vanilla" version.

Finest Moments Autographed Relics
The Finest Moments Autographed Relic were seeded as a "case hit" (1:12 mini boxes). The set is essentially a parallel of the Finest Moments insert set featuring a sticker autograph coupled with a relic swatch.
Each card is serial-numbered to varying copies (listed below) and available in the following Refractor parallels.
- Gold Refractor (serial-numbered to 20 copies)
- Purple Refractor (serial-numbered to 5 copies)
- SuperFractor (one-of-one)
NOTES:
- Cards marked with an "*" were on the provisional checklist provided by Topps, but have not appeared in the marketplace (yet).
- The autograph on some (but not all) of the Robinson Cano cards is on a plain holographic-foil sticker of the type used by Donruss-Playoff in the early-to-mid 2000s and not previously known to have been used by Topps. Donruss-Playoff/Panini has never produced a certified autograph of Cano.
- Card #FMA22 was not on the provisional checklist provided by Topps and #FMA19-#FMA21 have yet to appear in the marketplace. Adrian Gonzalez does not appear in the un-autographed Finest Moments insert set.
