Description
2012 Topps Tribute is a 90-card set released March 7th, 2012. Each pack will yield either an autograph or a relic card and a serial-numbered parallel. With the exception of the "Tribute to the Stars" set, which were all sticker autographs, all autographs will be on-card.
New for 2012, all autographs and Relics will come out of the pack encased in a plastic holder.
Tribute to the Stars Redemption Program
Originally, the "Tribute to the Stars" autographs were to have been seeded into packs as a second "hit" per pack. However, TttS were eventually seeded into packs as THE hit in the pack. To rectify the situation, Topps announced that any Tribute to the Stars card pulled from a pack could be redeemed for a free pack of 2011 Bowman Sterling.
To receive the free Bowman Sterling pack, collectors should mail their TttS cards to:
The Topps Company Sports & Entertainment Attn: Customer Support – 6th Floor 1 Whitehall Street New York, New York 10004-2109 Collectors will receive their TttS Autograph back along with the Bowman Sterling pack; however, the individual serial number will be registered and be ineligible from receiving another Bowman Sterling pack again.
This offer will expire March 9, 2013
