Orange Refractor

Collectors who purchased and opened a sealed Hobby box of 2013 Bowman Platinum at Topps' table at the 2013 National Sports Collectors Convention, received a 25-card box of Orange Prospect Refractors. Unlike a similar promotion at the 2012 NSCC -- and pre-NSCC communiques from Topps which suggested that collectors would receive a full 25-card partial-parallel "set" -- Orange Refractors were produced for the entire 100 card Prospects set and each box contained a random assortment. Each card is serial-numbered to 125 copies and a maximum of 100 25-card boxes were distributed each day over the five-day long event.

In addition, autograph cards of selected players were randomly inserted.

NOTE: Each Orange Chrome Refractor is sequentially-numbered with an "NC" prefix.
