Some collectors think that the Strasburg mini was a late addition and it will appear in later cases and possibly in retail packs/blasters.

In the two months since it's release, [[2010 Bowman]] has already become one of the most significant baseball card products ever released.  The Stephen Strasburg SuperFractor which recently sold for $16,403 (see below), was relisted and sold again [http://item.ebay.com/150458901752 for $25,000.]  Despite being a one-of-a-kind item, the first purchaser submitted the card to Beckett Grading Services, who gave the card a [http://blogbeckett.wordpress.com/2010/06/24/get-a-closer-look-at-the-stephen-strasburg-superfractor grade of "9.5"] or Gem Mint, before reselling it.  The high grade has been controversial, with some <ref>http://www.sportscardsuncensored.com/2010/06/bgs-discusses-strasburg-grade-fail.html</ref> collectors questioning the accuracy of the grade -- especially in regards to the card's L/R centering.

A second wave of Blasters and looseys are beginning to make their way to mass market retail outlets.  Even though a good amount of Bowman has already been opened prices of Hobby wax remain high, if you can still find them (~$150/hobby box, ~$300/jumbo box). Strasburg's base card is going for $30 right out of the pack, his Chrome for $50, and his autographed Bowman card $500-$750 range.  The Autographed Orange parallel (serial-numbered to 25 copies) is selling for over $4000.

Set of the Month

1997 Bowman's Best is a 200-card, rookie and prospect-themed set printed on chromium card stock. The set is divided into 100 current stars and 100 top prospects.

Rookie Cards include Adrian Beltre, Roy Halladay, Miguel Tejada and Kerry Wood.

Just Released

2024 Topps Big League is a 310-card set released March 27th. The base set is tiered into five levels, with the scarcest ten-card Legendary tier packed out as case hits.

Each eight-card pack will yield one tiered base card and an insert.

2024 Topps Tribute was released March 27th. As usual, each three-card pack will include either an autograph or a Relic with half of packs yielding a Relic and half either an autograph or an autographed Relic. Two of the Relics in each Hobby box will be multi-swatch.

2023-24 Topps Dynasty was released March 22nd, 2024. As usual, each box will contain an encased autographed patch card serial-numbered to ten or fewer.

Because this product was released so far into 2024 -- almost a full month after 2024 Topps Series One -- BCP does not consider it a "2023" product.

2023 Bowman Inception is a 100-card set released exclusively to Hobby outlets March 22rd, 2024. Each seven-card box will contain four base cards, two parallels, and an autograph.

2023 Topps Five Star was released February 21st, 2024. All cards are autographed, and each box will contain two.

2024 Topps Series One is a 350-card set issued the week of February 14th. As usual, each 24-pack Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a Relic card while Hobby-exclusive jumbo boxes will yield an autograph, a game-used Relic, and a manufactured "relic."

2023 Topps Luminaries was released February 7th, 2024. Each box contains one autographed card serial-numbered to fifteen copies or fewer.

2023 Topps Diamond Icons was released January 31st, 2024. As usual, each ten-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics. Every other box will yield a cut signature. All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.

2023 Panini Flawless is an 40-card set released February 7th, 2024. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2023 Stadium Club is a 300-card set released January 24, 2024. Stadium Club was originally scheduled for release on October 18th, but was delayed three months. Each Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs, an oversized boxloader, and a Chrome parallel.

2023 Bowman's Best was released January 17th, 2024 and consists of a 70-card base set supplemented by a 30-card Prospects set. Each pack will yield one Refractor parallel, and each 12-pack Hobby box will have three autographs (one less than the previous year's product, seven inserts, and an Wave Refractor.

2023 Topps Inception is a 125-card set released exclusively to Hobby outlets on December 6th. Each seven-card box will contain four base cards, two parallels, and an autograph.

2023 Bowman Draft is a 200-card set released December 12th. Each Hobby only Jumbo box will contain three autographs, 24 Refractors, and eleven inserts, while Super Jumbo boxes will yield five signatures, 40 Refractors, and ten inserts.

2023 Topps Museum Collection is a 100-card set released November 22nd. Each pack will contain either an autograph or a relic. Each four-pack box will yield the following:

  • A Canvas Collection insert
  • Four parallels
  • A "premium" Relic
  • A Quad Relic
  • An Autograph
  • An Autographed Relic

2023 Topps Chrome Update is a 220-card set released in November 14th. As with previous iterations of this product, it is an abbreviated chromium-stock rendition of the Topps Update set. For the first time since 2005, Chrome Update was given a traditional Hobby-style release. (No more Mega Boxes)

2023 Topps Definitive Collection was released November 10th. The product was originally intended for release on topps.com November 8th and sold via a Dutch auction. The Dutch auction was cancelled and made available at a fixed price two days later.

An all "hit" product, each eight-card box will yield six on-card autographs and two Relics.
