[[2004 Upper Deck Vintage]] is a 500-card set release in two series. The first 450 cards were issued as part of the Vintage series on February 02, 2004. The final 150 cards in the Vintage series (cards #301-#450) are short-printed and seeded into packs at varying levels.

The last 50 cards in the set (cards #451-#500) are known as the Update Series and were distributed exclusively as a factory set inside Hobby boxes of 2004 Upper Deck Series Two. Each Series Two Hobby box came with an unmarked and shrink-wrapped Update Set box from one of four possible 2004 Upper Deck early-season products: Vintage, Reflections, Play Ball, and SP Game Used Patch. Collectors had to break the shrink wrap to figure out which set they received; however, about two-thirds of the sets were Vintage.

[[2011 SP Legendary Cuts]], a cut-signature product, was released to shops on June 2, 2011. Each one-card "pack" will contain a cut signature card. Each five-box case will contain either a multi-player, Presidential or Exquisite cut signature. This will be Upper Deck's first baseball card release since 2010 Upper Deck; however, it will not be licensed by MLB Properties, nor will it feature any current MLBPA players.

The set features 220 cards and a 110 card Prospect "insert" set. Each Hobby box will yield one on-card autograph, and each HTA box three. [[2011 Topps Gypsy Queen]] was released April 25, 2011. Collectors are discovering that Gypsy Queen is a different product than what Topps originally advertised in late 2010. The base set has been reduced to 350 cards and early reports of hobby box breaks are yielding one less autograph. See the official [http://www.toppsblog.com/?p=881 Topps statement] for more info on the missing autograph. In addition, there are numerous inserts (Sticky Fingers, Wall Climbers) that were not on the original sell-sheets. We will have more information on Gypsy Queen as it becomes available.

[[2011 Topps Heritage]] was released on March 15, 2011. In its 11th year, the design of year's Heritage release mimics the design of 1962 Topps. Unlike previous releases, there are color variation sets found only in retail.

[[2011 Topps Opening Day]] was released on March 5, 2011 -- about a month before the actual opening day. As has become custom for this brand, the design of the base set is recycled from the 2011 Topps set. Unlike 2011 Topps Series One many of the players who have changed teams during the off season are depicted in their new airbrushed uniforms.

[[2024 Topps Sterling]] was released April 3rd. Each two-card box contains two autographed game-used cards serial-numbered to 25 copies or less with every fourth box yielding a one-of-one.

We estimate that 1000 cases were produced. While this is more than double the previous year's product, the number of boxes in a case was cut in half from eight to four, leading to an overall slight production increase.

2011 Bowman

Despite the fact that the Hobby edition is not scheduled for released until May 25th, 2011 Bowman packs are beginning to show up at mass-market retail chains. The first listed copy of Bryce Harper's Bowman Chrome Prospect card sold on eBay for an astonishing $135.29; however, as the supply of Harper BowChro cards increased, prices have begun to level off into the $60 range. It also appears that the much ballyhooed autographs of Bryce Harper and Manny Machado packed out as redemptions.

It appears that only small amounts of Gypsy Queen are being made available to collectors, hobby shops, online retailers, etc... Some long-time set builders are debating on buying retail rather than hobby due to the high initial cost of hobby boxes.

2011 Topps

The first series of Topps' flagship has been out for a couple of weeks, and as usual, there are many unannounced surprises. Over 50 players have a "Twink" variation, with these cards falling at about one-per-case. Many collectors have reported that the manufactured Glove Nameplate "relic" cards are falling apart right out of the pack. The mad scramble for Diamond Giveaway code cards are keeping the price of wax in the $65-$69/box range for Hobby and $109-$119/box for HTA.

Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects

Prices are holding steady for BDP&P at $55-$65 a box and $625-$675 a case. Debates among prospectors about the long-term value of 2010 BDP&P and when to sell are abundant.

Set of the Month

2004 Upper Deck Vintage is a 500-card set release in two series.

2024 Topps Chrome Black is a 100-card set released April 17th. Each four-card box will yield two base cards, one Refractor parallel serial-numbered to 199 copies or fewer, and one autograph.

2024 Topps Heritage is a 500 card set. In keeping with the brand's aesthetic, the design is based on the 1975 Topps set.

The first 500 cards were issued as part of the Heritage Series and was released April 10th. Each Hobby box will, as usual, yield a relic, an autograph or an autographed relic.

2024 Topps Sterling was released April 3rd.

2023 Panini Elite Extra Edition was released March 27th, 2024. As usual, the product focuses on recent draft picks and prospects, and can be seen as Panini's answer to Bowman Draft.

Each five-pack Hobby box will yield two game-used memorabilia cards and eight autographs.

2023-24 Topps Transcendent was released March 27th, 2024. Each box contains ten packs of four cards. Each box will also contain the following:

 • 20 Gold Framed Autographs –- all serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two of which are ones-of-one.
 • Ten Autographed Patch cards.
 • Ten Rookie Showcase Autographs or Rookie Showcase Autographed Patch cards.
 • One, one-of-one Through the Years Autograph.
 • One, one-of-one 1959 Autographed SuperFractor.
 • One, one-of-one Jumbo Autographed Patch Book card.
 • One, one-of-one Oversized Cut Signature.
 • One invitation to a VIP meet-and-greet.

2024 Topps Big League is a 310-card set released March 27th. The base set is tiered into five levels, with the scarcest ten-card Legendary tier packed out as case hits.

Each eight-card pack will yield one tiered base card and an insert.

2024 Topps Tribute was released March 27th. As usual, each three-card pack will include either an autograph or a Relic with half of packs yielding a Relic and half either an autograph or an autographed Relic. Two of the Relics in each Hobby box will be multi-swatch.

2023-24 Topps Dynasty was released March 22nd, 2024. As usual, each box will contain an encased autographed patch card serial-numbered to ten or fewer.

Because this product was released so far into 2024 -- almost a full month after 2024 Topps Series One -- BCP does not consider it a "2023" product.

2023 Bowman Inception is a 100-card set released exclusively to Hobby outlets March 22rd, 2024. Each seven-card box will contain four base cards, two parallels, and an autograph.

2023 Topps Five Star was released February 21st, 2024. All cards are autographed, and each box will contain two.

2024 Topps Series One is a 350-card set issued the week of February 14th. As usual, each 24-pack Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a Relic card while Hobby-exclusive jumbo boxes will yield an autograph, a game-used Relic, and a manufactured "relic."

2023 Topps Luminaries was released February 7th, 2024. Each box contains one autographed card serial-numbered to fifteen copies or fewer.

2023 Topps Diamond Icons was released January 31st, 2024. As usual, each ten-card box will contain: one Relic, seven autographs, and a pair of autographed Relics. Every other box will yield a cut signature. All cards are serial-numbered to 25 copies or fewer.

2023 Panini Flawless is an 40-card set released February 7th, 2024. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2023 Stadium Club is a 300-card set released January 24, 2024. Stadium Club was originally scheduled for release on October 18th, but was delayed three months. Each Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs, an oversized boxloader, and a Chrome parallel.
