2000 Stadium Club

Description

2000 Stadium Club is a 250-card single series set that was released in February, 2000. The last 50 cards are of rookies, draft picks and prospects and were short-printed -- although there are no notable rookie cards.

This was the first time the Stadium Club set was issued in a single series and had game-used cards.

Distribution

Hobby/Retail: 24 packs per box, six cards per pack (MSRP: $2).

Jumbos: 10 packs per box, 14 cards per pack (MSRP: $5). Exclusive to HTA Hobby stores.

Chrome Preview

This 20-card partial-parallel set was meant to preview the new Stadium Club Chrome product. The only differentiation between these cards and the eventual Stadium Club Chrome base set is that the Preview cards are sequentially-numbered with an "SCC" prefix.

Each card is also available as a Chrome Refractor.

Similar to the "Triumvirate" inserts in previous Stadium Club sets, this 30-card insert is die-cut and can be fused together into ten, three-card panels. The "base" cards are known as 3X3 Luminous and are also available as "Luminescent" (refractor) and "Illuminator" (atomic refractor) parallels.

Each card is also available in a "Game View" parallel. The Game View cards feature a replica of the photo slide used to create the card. Each Game View card is serial-numbered to 100 copies, and is exclusive to Hobby and jumbo packs.
