Each 24-pack Hobby should yield one autograph or Relic card, one over-sized box topper, eight short-printed base cards, and nine inserts.

2012 Topps Opening Day, is a 220 card, retail-exclusive, set released March 7th. As in previous years, the set recycles the design of the Topps flagship, with each pack yielding at least one insert.

2012 Topps Tribute was released exclusively to Hobby outlets on March 7th. Each pack contains one autograph or "Relic" card, and new for this year, each autograph/relic will come encased.

2011-12 Playoff Contenders, is a 50-card set released to brick-and-mortar Hobby stores on February 22, 2012, and to internet-based outlets a week later. Like 2011 Donruss Elite Extra Edition, the set is focused primarily on prospects and draft picks with a smattering of Major League players. Over 100 draft picks and prospects signed autographs for the product. Each 24-pack Hobby box is expected to yield six autographs -- two of which are on-card.

2012 Topps Series One was released, to retail, January 30, 2012. For the sixth consecutive year, the base set will consist of 330 cards, and is accompanied by the usual slew of inserts and parallels. Each Hobby box is scheduled to yield either an autograph or a Relic and each HTA box one autograph, one game-used Relic, and a manufactured Relic. This product will feature the first Topps-issued cards of Willie Mays since 2004.

2011 Donruss Elite Extra Edition, a 25-card set, was released to hobby shops January 2nd, 2012. Despite being the first Panini baseball card release since their acquisition of an MLBPA license, the product will focus on draft picks and prospects and contain only a token amount (around 25) actual Major League players. 190 prospects will be signing autographed cards for the set including 30 players selected in the first round of the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

This set is not licensed by either MLB Properties or the MLBPA.

2011 Finest is a 100-card set that was released on October 11, 2011. In a change for the brand, Topps has pushed back the release of Finest from just before Opening Day, to just before the end of the season. Another change is the elimination of the much-maligned manufactured letter patches and rookie redemptions. The base set consists of 100 veteran cards with 19 autographed rookies. Each autographed rookie will be serial-numbered and seeded at the rate of one-per 12-pack box. Each box will also include an autographed rookie dual relic, two Finest Moments inserts, and six Refractor parallels.

2011 Topps Update, a 330-card set, was released on October 5, 2011. As in recent year's, Update will include 55 rookies, various All-Star Game and season highlight cards, and cards of players who had changed teams during the 2011 season. New for 2011 are the addition of two more Diamond parallels: Hope and Cognac. In addition to the 330 Update cards, the Hope Diamond and Cognac Diamond parallels will also include all 660 base cards and the 49 Legend variations from Series One and Series Two. The Update series adds 25 more Legend variations which are available in every parallel.

2011 Triple Threads, a 168-card set, was released on September 27, 2011. The format and design of the product is similar as it has been in years past; however each pack will contain a second relic card.

2011 Topps Heritage Minor League, a 250-card set, was released, in hobby only, on September 21, 2011. Like 2011 Topps Heritage, this set will use the design of the 1962 Topps set. Each 24-pack box will include two autographs, a relic, and four serial-numbered parallels.

2011 Topps Marquee is a 100-card set that was released on September 12, 2011. Each five-card pack will contain: three base cards, a serial-numbered parallel, and either a serial-numbered autograph or a serial-numbered jumbo relic or multi-relic card. Marquee marks the return of Joe DiMaggio to Topps, whose rights had been under an exclusive contract to Upper Deck the past three years. In addition, boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will sign for Marquee.
